Creamy Prawns with Pasta

  • 6-12 green prawns (shelled & de-veined) per person

  • 600ml Thickened Cream

  • A big sploosh of Granny Mel's Smoked Garlic, Jalapeno and Anchovy Sauce

  • Fresh Parsley, chopped

  • Parmesan Cheese, grated

  • Your favourite pasta- cooked to packet specifications.


Put Granny Mel's Smoked Garlic, Jalapeno and Anchovy Sauce into a heavy based frying pan with the cream. Bring to a slow simmer, stirring every so often.

When the sauce is nice and thick, toss in the prawns. Once they change colour, toss in the cooked pasta and parsley then serve with a big wad of grated fresh Parmesan cheese.

Smoked Garlic Mussels

  • 2kg Mussels, debearded & cleaned

  • 600ml Plain Yoghurt

  • A big sploosh of Granny Mel's Smoked Garlic, Jalapeno and Anchovy Sauce

  • Fresh Parsley, chopped

  • Crusty Bread


Pop the mussels into a big pot or wok with lid. Pour in Granny Mel's Smoked Garlic, Jalapeno and Anchovy Sauce & Yoghurt. Put lid on and check them every couple of minutes taking out the ones that open. The ones that don't open you should throw to the chooks. Let juices rejuice (see what I did there) then tip said juices onto the mussels and serve with crusty bread.
